Patient's history

Christine Z. has had brownish urine and swollen feet for the last 2 days. She does not feel well and complains of malaise and headaches. She reported a recent weight gain of 2 kg.
Her general health has been good. No operations.
Her last period was 3 weeks ago. She has a regular menses every 28 days on a contraceptive pill. Otherwise no regular medication, no allergies. She trains at the gym regularly and bikes frequently.
Married, lawyer, works for the federal government.

Physical examination

27 year old woman. Slightly unwell.
General examination: no fever, height: 179 cm, weight: 67kg. BMI: 20.9.
Cardiovascular system: blood pressure: 165/105 mmHg, pulse: 76 / min. Cardiac auscultation: 2nd noise is very pronounced.
Lung: normal vesicular breath sounds in all lung fields.
Abdomen: normal bowel sounds. No pain or guarding on palpation. No sign of hernia. No pain in the kidney area.
Edema in lower legs on both sides, slight eyelid edema.
