Uricult® manipulation

Dip the gelose paddle into the urine sample.
If the sample is not deep enough, pour the urine onto the paddle

and absorb the surplus urine.

Screw down the receptacle lid (with paddle) and incubate for 24 hours at 37°C.

Read the result after 24 hours, comparing the culture with the manufacturer’s comparison scale.
If no colonies are visible after 24 hours, increase the incubation period to 36 or 48 hours and read again.
